Express vpn blocked internet on phone

My phone was left with vpn connected. After sometime it got disconnected and blocked internet access on my phone. I tried uninstalling , but that didnt help. Kindly suggest

  1. Restart your phone: Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve connection issues after uninstalling a VPN.

  2. Reset network settings: This will reset Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth settings on your phone.

On Android: Go to Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth.

On iPhone: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

  1. Check APN settings: Sometimes, VPNs can alter your Access Point Name (APN) settings. You can reset or configure these in your mobile network settings.

  2. Ensure background VPN apps aren’t running: Even after uninstalling, some VPN-related background services may still run. Check the apps running in the background and force stop any leftover VPN services.

  3. Clear the VPN app cache and data before uninstalling (if you plan to reinstall): Go to Settings > Apps > ExpressVPN (or the VPN app you’re using) > Storage > Clear cache and Clear data.

  4. Contact your mobile provider: If none of the above steps work, it’s possible your mobile provider has encountered an issue with your connection, and it might be worth contacting them.
