Does anyone know how to access EBSCO database?

I am trying to access a few databases that the library says we have access to but they all send me directly to an EBSCO login.

I tried to login with my school gmail account and it didn’t work, so i tried to login through an institution but UCSD isn’t on the list. I contacted the ask the librarian and couldn’t help me.

I am using the Anyconnect VPN and it’s working just fine, so I don’t know what else to do. Does anyone know what I need to do or who I can contact to be able to login?

Almost all the databases recognize you purely by IP address and aren’t set up to accept logins for UCSD. If you’re using VPN, it should work without needing to do anything else. If it isn’t working, there may be something up with your VPN setup. Are you using the installed VPN client, or going through the web VPN? Some databases won’t work well with web VPN. If you have the installed VPN, make sure the group is set to “2-factor allthruucsd.” There’s more detail at https://library.ucsd.edu/computing-and-technology/connect-from-off-campus/vpn-problems.html .

Also recommend checking whatsmyipaddress.com. Your IPV4 address from the VPN is usually going to start with 137 or 100, but it should be good if it says your location is UCSD.
