So I’ve been having this issue on my Mac Air M2
I try to open the app downloaded from their website, but each time it bounces up and down and then it stops “The Application is Not Responding”. I have to force quit the app and try to reopen it but it still doesn’t work.
I have tried upgrading my macOS system - no luck
Tried Safe Mode for Silicon Mac - no luck
Tried uninstalling and Reinstalling the app - no luck
Tried installing the app on another admin account - works
I tried getting in contact with Apple, and they referred me back to CyberGhost Support
I installed the app from the MacStore and it works perfectly fine:

I’m currently in contact with the CyberGhost VPN support team and see how it goes.
