Hi, I’m currently using Surfshark VPN on a mini pc to which I connect via AnyDesk
However, looks like having Surfshark enable brings AnyDesk to “disconnect” in about 40 seconds
Do you know if another VPN would solve this issue?
I use Proton VPN and zero issues.
I do the same thing with PIA and have no issue. In fact if the vpn connects or disconnects during the any connect session, the session freezes for a few seconds before it returns.

Many VPN providers block some of the ports AnyDesk needs to work, or even block AnyDesk traffic itself. We cannot guarantee AnyDesk to work correctly when using a VPN.
There are some settings that you can adjust, in order to make AnyDesk work. These are mostly for firewalls, but take a look at them and maybe something will help you:
