Can I use NordVPN in my work PC?

I tried to transfer the program throw my phone, but it fails when i try to connect my account.

And when i try to open the nordvpn website, the site blocks itself.

Why are there so many people who want to use VPNs on work PCs? Do you guys think that it hides your activity from the employer or some shit?

ehm,

NordVPN and any vpn or any app for that matter can be used as long as the OS specs are met.
So yes you could, assuming your employer allows it. It looks like your employer is the one restricting against using it.

It sounds like your employer blocks the site.

Most PC’s provided by a workplace have policies put into place to prevent the user from installing unauthorised software on them to prevent them for being used for things other than work. Unless you know the administration password which won’t ever be given out to employees, there is little to no chance your bypassing this. I’m not too sure why you’d want to use a VPN on a work PC anyway? Your employer will still be able to see and track what your doing

This totally doesn’t violate some kind of computer use policy in your organization /s

Employers commonly block various things on their networks and computers. That often includes VPNs. They want to be able to monitor what you’re doing as needed.

Employers will see all of your traffic regardless :rofl:
Sorry to ruin the party!

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Don’t mean to be a party pooper, but you should not install a 3rd party VPN app on your work computer or, for that matter any non-IT supplied applications without explicit permission to do so. Many companies have computer usage policies and if you violate them it could get you into major trouble. Also your IT department can find out easily what applications have been installed on the computer and what servers / websites you are connecting to.

My friendly advice would be to use your personal equipment for anything that is not work-related.

That depends, how badly do you need this job?

In case you’re not a tech oriented person, your employer will still be able to see everything you do on a machine they have full control over.

If you’re trying to work from somewhere that you’re not supposed to, then you’d need a VPN router. Installing VPN software on their computer would make it obvious you’re up to something.

Bypassing your employers restrictions is a horrible idea.
