Are there any semi-torrent-friendly VPNs that offer a free trial/demo without asking for a debit card?

Basically I have Proton VPN which I am happy with but I can’t afford to renew it until next month, and they don’t allow torrenting on their free servers.

I don’t mind if there is a cap on traffic, or even if torrenting is throttled, as long as it’s not throttled down to like 1 byte per second.

But because I can’t afford to renew Proton VPN I obviously can’t afford to pay for a trial to claim the money back at the end of it - I need it to be free from the outset, even if it’s only for a week or a month or something.

Windscribe has a free plan:

I believe there are some promo codes on the Internet to bump up the limit to 30GB.

Thank you  I forgot to mention though that I also need it to do port forwarding :frowning: which Windscribe can do but not for free. It looks like it might work out more cost-effective for me to switch from Proton VPN to Windscribe when I can renew though, so thanks anyway!!

Mind you that most private trackers forbid you to use free VPNs
