I played for 5k hours and i just recently downloaded overwatch 2… The best decision of my entire year… i was able to transfer my skills easily… from drogoz to pharah and others… what made me fall in love with overwatch is that when people disconnect other people join and in the early game of ranked matches they discontinue the game. tIts always depressing to see the red disconnect sign on paladins players icon after they leave and u play for the first minute thinking u can still win then the next person disconnects. Move to overwatch. The only problem with overwatch u have is that i cant change regions without VPN… I’m an english speaking person living in latin america, so a lot of spanish and Portuguese
I’ve played on and off since beta, I have all champions and get new ones for free(some pack I pruchased in beta), I have millions of gold, more skins then I can count. I’m used to the bull shit issues, new and old, and I just continue to play because i enjoy it, and im good af. But I always hope they fix the issues. It is a very small team with little funds, so it’s understandable and forgiving. I aint going anywhere. Good luck OP 
Personally i dislike backfilling. Sure its nice when you get a new teammate but when you’re the one backfilling it always feels like crap

Thats the thing. Doenst matter which game u love hate more. Its a fact that paladins currently is in a bad state and ow is clean and working(makes sense more devs player and esports). I just hope the next big update in paladins is in fact a “big” update eith meaningful changes
Overwatch is ass. We all know the feeling of a siege game 3-3 99% on both sides and the absolute desperation to capture the point after a hard fought 20+ minute game, you just don’t get that with overwatch it’s way to watered down and mainstream. Not to mention how much better the original overwatch was in every way. There’s so much going against paladins and there’s a lot of issues but when it’s good there’s no other hero shooter that even comes close and if you have 5k hours I know you know that deep down
Crazy how me and all my friends went from ow2 to paladins and we don’t regret it whatsoever
If Overwatch wasn’t stupidly fast paced I might bother playing it, but there’s no point in even having abilities in games with low TTK.
Both games suck.

I prefer paladins. Ow is so toxic. Paladins you run into the occasional toxic person but overall I think people play it for what it is… A game and have fun with it
I have 7 or 8k hours and I pretty much did the same and it feels very refreshing. But I know I’ll come back to paladins because I still like it more.
I think that overwatch gets a lot of things right : supports feel better, tanks feel much stronger to play, and in general the game makes you feel a lot more powerful than paladins. Also hitting shots is a lot more satisfying and there are more precise timings and counters that are interesting to learn. But there are also massive problems like tanks being incredibly oppressive to fight, one shots being a thing and ults being way too powerful. It also feels like many characters just lack something to be actually interesting. The game is fun to play for a change though.
Edit : I forgot that the best aspect of overwatch is actually the role queue, it would be so good to have it in paladins
I enjoyed overwatch for a while but the lack of a card systems and talent tree meant I got incredibly bored after a while, not to mention tank role is hell over there.
