Is there a way to clear the “recently used gateways” entry in GlobalProtect Windows 10 client?
I can’t seem to find a way to do this and uninstalling/reinstalling seems overkill.
I have a user who loses internet connection when connected to the VPN and I suspect it’s his home internet connection that is at fault, but I want to rule out anything on the company side if I can.
Delete the paloalto folder in user appdata
Using regedit go into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Palo Alto Networks\GlobalProtect\Settings and delete what you want. If you delete the entire section you are resetting GlobalProtect settings.
Look for Registry values called ‘RecentConnectManualGateway-#’ in the Registry location ‘Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Palo Alto Networks\GlobalProtect\Settings\’.
After deleting the values, you have to restart the GlobalProtect Client process or restart the PC for it to take affect.
I was about to recommend going there. I use a GPO to smash settings into that space so users have all that pre-populated.
