I know my self and many others need to use chromebooks at school, and literally every good games website is completely blocked. This can be especially annoying if you need to use them very often, like I do. Thankfully there is an extremely simple method to bypass all internet and extension interference with my school Chromebook professional gaming career. First, navigate to the chrome web store and search the term “freedom drop” and download it. This will get rid of any extensions messing with your pro gaming career as its a browser with no extensions on it, BUT your school more than likely has internet filters that while typically less annoying than the extension based blocking, can still mess with you. Thankfully due to the wonderful existence of proxies, this can be easily bypassed with VERY LITLE EFFORT. Simply navigate to the Url usemetallic.com. this will bring up a website that has a search bar that will allow you to bypass all those stinky internet filters. Hopefully this helps just one person because I’m too lazy to make a video on how to do it. If your school blocks the downloads of any actually useful apps or extensions from the web store (such as freedom drop) then search up “ext remover” on Google, and go to the following github repo. There will be a set of instructions on many other chromebook exploits that may be useful to you, including the method to bypass your school blocking you from downloading any extensions or apps (it’ll work on stuff besides freedom drop too) thanks to bypassi for making the freedom drop Browser and cog network for the proxy that is mentioned

This is probably the least intrusive method of getting full usage of a school chromebook, and people don’t seem to realize most people couldn’t give two shits about whether or not it’s the school’s property. People literally have shut down entire classes that are based off of websites temporarily because they broke the screens and keyboards of all of the computers in the class. Please get off my dick about the shit I mentioned earlier because I couldn’t care any less. It’s just annoying that only the people who think people give two shits about school property are commenting.
school computers are their property not yours and you shouldn’t mess with them, if you want to play games buy an old thinkpad for like $100 and play games instead of paying attention and doing your work

I use an app on my Chromebook. Some kid showed me. It’s some lockdown browser I think. It’s great to because it was made by the school itself! With a little bit of finesse, you can get access to unblocked google. Not perfect, but works without messing the internals up.

ma school blocked GitHub but u can use Google Translate to translate the page you want and it will work, you just have to make the language go back to english once you’re in the page. it’s a bit finicky though
Well I’m not messing with them. This doesn’t involve any sort of messing with the internals or literally anything to do with the chromebook. This isn’t just for games, as a lot of actually good websites end up being blocked and it can be very annoying. I’ve asked my school about it, and they said it’s fine because “were gonna go home and look up whatever we want anyways” I do pay attention and do my work, I’ve got a 3.8 GPA. But the other methods I see of getting rid of blocking and either really difficult or involve completely altering the chromebook from its original state. I just thought this might be useful because it’s easy to repeat and doesn’t have a chance of fucking up the chromebook in any way. If whoever tries this school doesn’t like it, then they won’t be able to use it.
